FMAC crowned UAE Wrestling League champions for the 2025-2026 season

In a display of strength, discipline, and unwavering determination, Fujairah Martial Arts Club (FMAC) has continued to etch its name into the annals of UAE sport, further cementing its reputation as a dominant force in combat disciplines.

The club was officially crowned champions of the UAE Wrestling League for clubs for the 2025/2026 season, following a series of exceptional performances that highlighted both technical excellence and competitive spirit.

This latest triumph underscores Fujairah’s growing influence on the national stage, as it builds a legacy driven by structured development, elite training standards, and a new generation of rising talent poised to shape the future of wrestling in the UAE.

The journey to the top was no coincidence. It was the result of complete dominance across six consecutive rounds. The club’s champions secured first place with merit and distinction in two age categories:  Under 13 (U13): 1st place with 170 points, Under 17 (U17): 1st place with 180 points

This overwhelming success reflects the club’s effective technical strategy in building a strong youth foundation capable of both competing and dominating.

Khalifa Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain hosted the thrilling final round on Saturday.

Amid an electrifying atmosphere and highly competitive matches, Fujairah’s wrestlers delivered heroic performances on the mat, proving that Fujairah talent is a formidable force in UAE wrestling.

The vibrant atmosphere in Al Ain painted the picture of future champions—athletes who proudly represent Fujairah Martial Arts Club today.

Fujairah’s wrestlers claimed top positions across multiple weight categories, demonstrating the team’s depth and strength. They also recorded the highest overall points tally, highlighting that the club possesses a complete team rather than relying on individual talents.

Nader Abu Shawish praised the efforts of the UAE Wrestling Federation for adopting new mechanisms and strategies this season, and extended his thanks to veteran coach captain Tawfiq Al-Sayed and the technical staff.

With this latest achievement, Fujairah Martial Arts Club adds another prestigious trophy to its decorated cabinet, reviving memories of past glory when it won the Cubs League title in the 2019–2020 season—an accomplishment that established the club as one of the most prominent in the country and set it on a path of continuous progress.

This achievement proves that Fujairah Martial Arts Club is not just a participant in competitions, but a true producer of champions and a dominant force on the podium, confirming that wrestling at the club is currently experiencing its golden era thanks to continuous support and professional planning.
