UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Thursday visited the Neue Wache memorial in Berlin as part of his state visit to the Federal Republic of Germany.
His Highness laid a wreath inside the Neue Wache, which serves as Germany’s central memorial to the victims of war and tyranny.
Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed was accompanied by members of the UAE delegation.
Sheikh Mohamed arrived in Berlin on Wednesday on a state visit to the Federal Republic of Germany.
Upon entering German airspace, Sheikh Mohamed’s aircraft was joined by an escort of German military aircraft in a gesture of welcome.
The UAE President was accorded an official reception upon arrival, with a ceremony featuring a 21-gun salute and a guard of honour.
