Sheikh Khaled, King of Eswatini discuss ties

Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, has received King Mswati III of Eswatini, who is currently visiting the UAE.

Sheikh Khaled welcomed King Mswati III to the UAE, reaffirming the two countries’ strong bilateral relations and the UAE’s commitment to further expanding cooperation and coordination frameworks in support of the aspirations of both nations.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the ties of friendship and cooperation between the UAE and the Kingdom of Eswatini and explored prospects for strengthening bilateral cooperation across various fields of mutual interest for the benefit of both nations and their peoples.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Shakhboot Bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State; Sheikh Khalifa Bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court; Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi; Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport; and Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of the Office of the Crown Prince.

Recently, Sheikh Khaled attended the 17th EmiratesSkills National Competition, organised by Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ACTVET.

Sheikh Khaled toured the event’s pavilions and reviewed a range of projects, innovations, and technical and vocational skills showcased by participating students from across the UAE.

Sheikh Khaled also received a detailed briefing on several initiatives and programmes aimed at developing national skills and preparing young Emirati talent in line with the current and future needs of strategically important sectors.

Sheikh Khaled expressed his appreciation for the quality of the projects and innovations presented by participants, highlighting the promising national capabilities and ambitions they reflect, which reinforce a culture of excellence and creativity and enhance the UAE’s global competitiveness across technical and vocational sectors.

He highlighted that investing in youth skills development and equipping young people with advanced knowledge and expertise represents a key pillar of the UAE’s vision to build a competitive economic ecosystem founded on knowledge, innovation and the integration of advanced technological solutions.
