Sheikh Mohammed praises Egypt’s Pharaohs after heroic World Cup battle

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, praised the Egyptian national football team for its courageous performance in a thrilling World Cup encounter, describing the match as a proud moment for Egypt and the Arab world.

Sheikh Mohammed highlighted the team’s determination, resilience and fighting spirit as they battled against the reigning world champions until the final whistle, earning admiration from fans across the region.

Taking to social media, Sheikh Mohammed said: “Today, we witnessed a heroic match—an Egyptian and Arab spectacle—in which Egypt’s Pharaohs fought valiantly against the world champions right up to the final minute. “We take pride in their Egyptian spirit and thank them—as does the rest of the world—for such a wonderful, entertaining match.
