President Trump deserves an orange card for his red card corruption of FIFA and the game of soccer. When I played and coached a number of sports, one of the fundamental values was the umpires were always right and their decisions were accepted even if they had missed something or made a mistake.
Yes, mistakes happen but we must have faith in the overall honesty of people and the system.
If I could change the result of many events I am sure the world, or my world, would be better off but fortunately I can’t nor should I try to. Play the game fairly.
