It’s a world of new technology and artificial intelligence. The name artificial intelligence says everything — intelligence that is gathered from human-generated data and information — making artificial intelligence seem smarter than humans nowadays (“China proposes new cyberbullying law covering AI-enabled abuse,” July 29, Gulf Today website).
According to the report, China’s cyberspace regulator on Wednesday released a draft law aimed at curbing cyberbullying, including AI-enabled abuse, as Beijing tightens oversight of online bullying in the world’s largest internet community.
It’s very important for AI governing bodies all over the world to ensure that companies using artificial intelligence to boost their businesses follow the rules set by governments regarding new technology to avoid any mishaps.
I think the Chinese government has rightly proposed a new cyberbullying law covering AI-enabled abuse. The world should follow the initiative taken by the Chinese government. It’s a new world — the world of information technology — and nobody can stop the progress of advanced technology. However, governments can introduce cyber laws all over the world that will protect people from cyberbullying, fraud, and injustice.
