Advanced technology has changed the way of learning, reading, and doing business. The value of reading a broadsheet newspaper and the habit of reading novels will never die, despite the fact that the world has changed rapidly (“Just as the world appears to be losing its appetite for books, William T. Vollmann pens a 3,000-page novel,” Aug.25, Gulf Today website).There is a huge difference between reading books in print and reading them online. Reading a printed book allows readers to enjoy reading with a cup of tea or coffee without any distortion. Reading books online will not be the same because many notifications appear during reading, and people lose their concentration.In my personal opinion, people like William T.
