Sharjah Civil Defence Authority honours Industrial Area 6…

Brigadier Yousef Obaid Harmoul Al Shamsi, Director General of the Sharjah Civil Defence Authority, honoured the civil defence heroes in Semnan and Muwaileh fire and rescue stations in appreciation of their field efforts and quick response to a fire accident that broke out in Industrial Area 6.

The teams were able to efficiently contain and bring the fire under control, preventing it from spreading to neighbouring sites.

This honour came in appreciation of the heroic role played by the fire brigades in dealing with the fire and the high readiness and field efficiency they demonstrated that contributed to reducing losses and preserving the safety of lives and property.

Praising the professional performance and effective co-ordination among the teams, Al Shamsi stressed that high readiness and speed of intervention represented a fundamental pillar in protecting lives and property and reflected the level of efficiency of the civil defence system.

He also appreciated the spirit of responsibility and discipline displayed by the personnel of the two stations, which contributed to ending the incident without recording greater repercussions and reflected the readiness of the teams and their ability to deal with all emergency reports efficiently and competently.
