Rain of varying intensity falls in parts of UAE

Rains of varying intensity fell on separate areas across the UAE on Wednesday, while cumulus clouds formed as a result of the country being affected by the extension of a surface low-pressure system from the east, accompanied by the extension of a low-pressure system in the upper atmosphere.

The weather on Thursday will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times and some cumulus clouds are likely to form in the east and south, possibly accompanied by rains, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds will blow, turning to active and dust-stirring at times at 10 to 25 and up to 40 km/h, while the sea will have regular to moderate waves in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

Friday’s weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times and some cumulus clouds are likely to form in the east and south.

Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds will blow, turning to active at times at 10 to 25 and up to 35 km/h, while the sea will have regular to moderate waves in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

Saturday’s weather will be clear to partly cloudy with some clouds, possibly cumulus, appearing in the east and south but will be humid at night and on Sunday morning in some coastal areas.

Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds will blow, turning to active at times at 10 to 25 and up to 35 km/h, while the sea will have regular waves in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

Sunday’s weather will be clear to partly cloudy at times with some clouds appearing in the east.
