The mother of one-year-and-three-month-old Rose, who suffers from Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), is facing an arduous and costly treatment journey, prompting her to appeal to kind-hearted people to help cover the necessary treatment costs before the disease takes away more of Rose’s capabilities.
Rose’s mother says: “I hold a precious wish in my heart which means everything to me: to see Rose grow up, move, and live a normal life like other children.”
The mother added that Rose was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), a rare and serious disease which affects the nerves and muscles, requiring specialised gene therapy and continuous medical follow-up.
The mother further stated, “Based on the doctors’ recommendations, we began the treatment journey, but its high cost exceeds our abilities. We are now in need of those who will stand by us and help us save Rose’s future. We hope that Rose will get a chance for life, a chance to maintain her strength, and receive treatment at the right time, before the disease steals more of her abilities.
“I hope that kind-hearted people will look at Rose’s condition with mercy and humanity and help us with whatever they can. Your support, after Allah’s help, could be the reason for changing the future of a little girl who asks for nothing more than a chance to live and grow up like other children.”
