The Ministry of Interior has called on those wishing to purchase and license a firearm during the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (Adihex), which will be held from August 28 to September 6, to submit their applications through the MoI’s website or mobile app.
The MoI clarified that the licensing requirements for Emiratis stipulate that applicants must be no less than 21 years old.
For non-Emiratis, a no-objection certificate from the concerned authorities in their country, authenticated by their country’s embassy in the UAE, is required.
