The biggest financial battle isn’t external, it’s internal. People stay stuck financially.
Not because there are no opportunities, but because fear eventually becomes stronger than action. Financial freedom is rarely created through one life-changing breakthrough. More often, it’s built through small decisions repeated consistently over many years. That’s not a very exciting answer, but it’s the truth.
In an exclusive interview, this was stated by Raja Zahoor, a Dubai-based finance educator and entrepreneur with a global community of over 2 million followers across various platforms.
He’s known for simplifying money, markets, and monetisation for a new generation, helping people turn digital attention into real income through practical, no-fluff strategies.
“The UAE is one of the most exciting places for content creators as it rewards and attracts a very specific type of people. People move here to build businesses, advance their careers, create opportunities for their families, and improve their financial future,” he said.
He pointed, “I’ve seen the audience evolve over the years. There was a time when social media was largely about appearances. But the shift creates an incredible opportunity for creators because the most valuable content is no longer entertainment alone; it’s education, experience, and trust,” he said.
From working on oil rigs and factory floors to building one of the fastest-growing online finance communities, Raja Zahoor transformed personal financial struggle into a mission to help people aware in the digital age. When he started building his social media presence, he spoke about his mistakes while most people thought that would damage his reputation because social media at the time was built around projecting success. Instead, it became one of the best decisions he ever made. “Some influencers in the UAE are making exceptional money, but I think people often misunderstand why. A lot of people assume that income comes from having a large audience. My experience has taught me the opposite. Income comes from having an audience that trusts you,” he pointed.
“The creators making the most money today are rarely relying on brand deals alone. They’re building ecosystems around their audience,” he responded.
When asked about which niche is most successful for new content creators, he replied, “Today, niches like finance, entrepreneurship, AI, wellness, and personal development are growing rapidly. But audiences are becoming much more sophisticated. They can tell when someone is speaking from experience and when someone is simply repeating information they heard elsewhere.”
On the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in content creations, Zahoor said, “One of the biggest misconceptions about AI is that people think it’s creating opportunities that didn’t exist before. I don’t think that’s what’s happening at all.”
He said that AI can identify patterns almost instantly. Instead of manually reviewing thousands of conversations, AI can analyse them, organise them, and show creators exactly where demand exists. It can help creators understand their audience better than ever before. Inside our own business, we use AI to improve communication, analyse customer behaviour, and streamline operations. He also argued that the fundamental principle hasn’t changed.
