Egyptian man climbs 6 floors to save Sudanese woman from …

An Egyptian young man named Ahmed Abdul Nasser became the talk of social media in recent hours, after a video documented his heroic intervention to save a Sudanese woman who was about to end her life by throwing herself from the top of a residential building in Ain Shams area of Cairo.

Abdul Nasser allegedly noticed a large gathering in front of a residential building on the street where he worked, and people were screaming and calling for help to save a woman who was standing on top of the building, threatening to throw herself.

“I learned from the people there that the woman was going through a family crisis and disputes, which led her to make this dangerous decision,” Abdul Nasser added.

The scene was serious, especially since the woman did not respond to her family, but he only thought of intervening quickly to try to save her and prevent a disaster, according to the Egyptian newspaper Telegraph.

According to the video which went viral on social media, Ahmed climbed to the sixth floor and reached the edge of the high building where the woman was standing, in a rescue operation which required a high degree of daring and risk, especially with the narrow space and the height of the residential building.

Despite the difficulty of the situation, Abdul Nasser succeeded in communicating with the woman, then managed to safely bring her down away from the edge of the building, thus ending moments of tension and anxiety residents of the area and passersby experience.

The video garnered thousands of views and interactions across social media platforms, where users praised the humanitarian stance of Abdul Nasser, considering that what he did embodies the meanings of chivalry and responsibility.

Many affirmed that the young man’s quick action and good assessment of the situation were the decisive factor in saving the woman’s life, especially since any delay or mistake would have resulted in a real tragedy.
