Dubai Police honour Saudi national for rescuing person from drowning

As part of the Dubai Police General Command’s efforts to encourage and recognise community members who demonstrate cooperation and uphold honourable moral values, Brigadier Dr Hassan Suhail Al Suwaidi, Director of the Ports Police Station, honoured Abdulrazzaq Bin Zaal Bin Jabr Al Ruwaili, a Saudi national. This recognition is for his bravery and initiative in rescuing an individual from drowning in Dubai Creek.

Brigadier Hassan Suhail commended Abdulrazzaq Al Ruwaili for his noble humanitarian deed, which exemplifies social responsibility and the spirit of initiative in safeguarding lives. He highlighted that such actions embody the community’s understanding of their role as active partners in enhancing security and safety and improving the quality of life. He also urged community members to adopt these positive values and to not hesitate to help others whenever necessary.

Brigadier Hassan Suhail awarded a certificate of appreciation to Abdulrazzaq Al Ruwaili in recognition of his bravery and quick response in saving a man from drowning. He highlighted that this acknowledgment is part of fostering community partnership between Dubai Police and the public, promoting positive values, and encouraging cooperation to ensure security and safety nationwide.

In response, Abdulrazzaq Al Ruwaili expressed his gratitude to the Dubai Police for the honour. He stated that his actions were a humanitarian and social duty and commended their ongoing efforts in enhancing security and community service.
