Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security in Dubai, honoured Captain Dr Engineer Salem Saqr Al Marri, from the General Department of Anti-Narcotics at Dubai Police, for obtaining a patent for the management and integration of cellular calls for field work teams and surveillance operations, from the European Patent Office.
This came during Lieutenant General Khalfan’s reception of Captain Al Marri in his office, where he praised this achievement, which is considered a true gain and an unprecedented scientific accomplishment.
The invention is based on automating the creation of conference calls on the cellular network, and bypassing the maximum number of calls per SIM card by using additional SIM cards which increase the capacity for the number of lines in a conference call, in addition to the feature of verifying numbers before merging them to improve the efficiency of field work teams and their readiness for any instantaneous variables in the field.
