The Dubai Club for People of Determination has successfully concluded the 10th edition of its annual summer programme, “Our Summer Leaves a Mark,” bringing together 250 participants over 50 days of educational, recreational, and cultural activities designed to empower People of Determination.
The programme featured 120 activities, 42 excursions, the support of 40 government and private sector entities, and the dedication of 150 volunteers, creating an inclusive environment that encouraged learning, creativity and community engagement.
One of the highlights of the closing ceremony was the “Hamadna Allah Hamadnah” (We Praised God and Thanked Him) choir performance by 23 members. The moving performance received warm applause from the audience as it expressed gratitude for God’s blessings, pride in the UAE, and loyalty to the nation’s wise leadership under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Fawzia Al Balooshi, Head of the Summer Programme Organising Committee, said the 10th edition had achieved its objective of providing an ideal and inclusive summer experience for People of Determination.
She highlighted the participants’ enthusiasm and active involvement throughout the programme, noting that the wide range of activities and excursions helped develop skills, build confidence, and channel participants’ energy into new opportunities.
“Our Summer Leaves a Mark is a story of success and inspiration,” Al Balooshi said. “Through the determination and ambitions of our participants, we continue to create an environment where hope grows, talents flourish and dreams become reality.”
Al Balooshi also expressed her appreciation to the sponsors, success partners, volunteers, and organising teams for their unwavering support. She praised the contribution of government and private sector institutions, whose commitment to community partnership and social responsibility played a vital role in the programme’s success.
The ceremony concluded with Mona Khalifa Hammad, Member of the Federal National Council and Board Member of the Dubai Club for People of Determination, honouring the programme’s sponsors, partners, and organising committee in recognition of their valuable contribution.
