
The Rental Disputes Centre (RDC) in Dubai received a cheque of Dhs1 million from Dar Al Ber Society to support tenants facing difficulties in rental cases and those in need of assistance.
This initiative falls within the strategy of institutional cooperation between judicial and charitable bodies, aiming to provide assistance and alleviate financial burdens for eligible individuals through programmes based on clear legal foundations and specific humanitarian criteria, including assessing social status, debt value, income sources, previous payment commitment, and necessary documents.
Judge Abdul Qader Mousa Mohammed, Head of the RDC, stated that the RDC gives great importance to strengthening strategic partnerships with charitable and humanitarian organisations, stemming from firm belief that integration between these institutions forms a fundamental pillar in supporting family and social stability in the Emirate of Dubai.
He added: “This cooperation with Dar Al Ber Society embodies an effective model for this joint institutional approach, especially in light of the ‘Year of the Family’ 2026, which reflects the UAE’s interest in strengthening the elements of its stability to maintain a more cohesive and interdependent society.”
Hisham Al Hashemi, Board Member and Deputy CEO of Dar Al Ber Society, said: “This initiative comes within the strategic approach adopted by the Society to expand the scope of its community partnerships with various governmental and judicial bodies, with the aim of supporting distressed groups and alleviating financial burdens on eligible families and individuals.”
He added: “We affirm our constant commitment to developing qualitative initiatives that contribute to enhancing social stability and the values of solidarity and compassion, in line with the UAE’s vision of building a cohesive society based on justice, mercy, and shared responsibility.”
Judge Abdul Aziz Anouhi, Appeals Judge and Head of “Yad Al Khair” Committee in the Society, said: “This initiative represents a new addition to the humanitarian work path adopted by the committee, which will contribute to expanding the circle of beneficiaries of its programme specifically in cases facing difficulties in settling their rental obligations. We appreciate this constructive cooperation with Dar Al Ber Society.”
The event concluded by emphasisng the importance of continuing to launch more community initiatives and solidifying Dubai’s position as a leading model in the integration between humanitarian work and the legal system within a sustainable and comprehensive institutional framework.
