Company ordered to pay employee Dhs199,298 as dues

The Abu Dhabi Labour Court of First Instance ordered a company to pay Dhs199,298 to an employee, who worked for it for 3 years and the employment relationship ended without payment of his entitlements. These included late salaries for several months, annual leave allowance, and end-of-service gratuity.

In the details, an employee filed a lawsuit against the company he worked for, requesting a judgment to compel it to pay his late salaries for several months amounting to Dhs74,250, unauthorised financial deductions worth Dhs34,350, annual leave allowance to the tune of Dhs27,205, notice period allowance worth Dhs13,500, end-of-service gratuity of Dhs33,116, a travel ticket of Dhs4,000, and legal interest of 12% from the date of the judgment until full payment, besides fees, expenses, and attorney fees.
