Sharjah Department of Public Works (DPW) has completed the construction of Al Hamriya Comprehensive Police Station building in Al Hamriyah City as part of its ongoing efforts to support infrastructure and enhance the readiness of facilities in the emirate.
The project was implemented according to the highest engineering standards with a view to raising the efficiency of services and meeting the needs of the area.
The project’s land area extends to 19,000 square metres and features an administrative building with an area of 1,465 square metres distributed over two floors.
The ground floor contains integrated facilities including reception halls, operation rooms, 4 administrative offices, a women’s police section, storage rooms, a kitchen, detention rooms and a range of support services as well as external works including fences, gates, internal roads, and external courtyards, ensuring an efficient work environment equipped with the latest requirements.
The first floor includes a lobby area, a manager’s office, 7 duty room offices, 2 meeting rooms and restrooms.
The project also includes a service building, a guardhouse, perimeter walls, paved internal roads, a parking area with 112 spaces, and 850 square metres of green spaces. An additional 870 square metres of external plazas have also been paved.
DPW said this project reflected its commitment to implementing high-quality government facilities that supported security and safety in the Emirate of Sharjah and aligned with the government’s vision of developing sustainable infrastructure that would meet community needs and enhance quality of life.
