Al Ain court cancels defected vehicle’s sale deal, orders…

Al Ain Court of Civil, Commercial, and Administrative Cases ordered a man to pay Dhs98,000 to another, who filed a lawsuit stating that he saw an advertisement on a social media platform regarding the sale of a vehicle in good and usable condition, so he agreed to purchase it for Dhs98,000, of which he paid Dhs92,500 in cash and Dhs5,500 via bank transfers.

The complainant indicated that after receiving the vehicle and using it for a short period, it broke down, and upon inspection at the agency, it was revealed that there were serious defects in the engine, transmission, and electronic system, as the inspection report also revealed that it had previously been submerged in water.

Accordingly, the court ruled to terminate the sales contract and return the car to its seller, and ordered the seller to return the Dhs98,000 he received from the plaintiff.
