The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) in Abu Dhabi announced a ban on delivery motorcycles on certain roads in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, in an effort to enhance traffic safety and protect delivery riders and road users.
The ban includes roads with a speed limit of 120 km/h or more, and Sheikh Zayed Road (from Sheikh Zayed Bridge to Sheikh Zayed Tunnel. The ITC stated that this measure is part of an integrated system aimed at raising the level of traffic safety and improving traffic flow on roads, ensuring a safer transportation environment for all road users.
