admin European airlines are swiftly reinstating flights to Dubai and Abu Dhabi as travel interest to these destinations rises. Starting in late October 2026, the Lufthansa Group and Wizz Air will resume their services to these cities.
As detailed by “Al Khaleej” newspaper, Lufthansa will restart direct flights on the Frankfurt–Dubai route from October 25, offering a daily service with flights leaving Frankfurt at 1:30 PM local time. Additionally, flights from Zurich to Dubai will begin on October 28, also operating daily.

Concurrently, Wizz Air is set to resume its Dubai connections starting October 24, with flights from Dubai to Budapest and Bucharest. The Dubai–Budapest route is planned for five flights a week, while the connection to Bucharest Otopeni Airport will run daily, accumulating to seven weekly flights.
Wizz Air is set to restart its flights from Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi to six European cities: Budapest, Larnaca (Cyprus), Krakow and Katowice (Poland), Sofia (Bulgaria), and Cluj-Napoca (Romania).
