UAE attracted Dhs177.3 billion in FDI during 2025, says S…

The UAE continues to consolidate its position as a global destination for investment and opportunities according to the latest World Investment Report, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, said. 

“In 2025, the UAE achieved record foreign direct investment inflows of Dhs177.3 billion, up by 6 per cent, while the stock of foreign direct investment rose to Dhs1.17 trillion,” he added. 

“The UAE has advanced to ninth place globally among destinations for foreign direct investment and has maintained for the third year in a row the second place globally in the number of established foreign direct investment projects with a total of 1,562 projects,” Sheikh Mohammed said in a tweet on the X platform. 

“Our goal within the National Investment Strategy is to reach a stock of foreign direct investment of Dhs2.2 trillion by 2031 and to attract Dhs240 billion in foreign direct investment flows annually. These figures are not just economic indicators, but rather the fruit of a national vision, one team’s work and global confidence in a country that has turned ambition into reality and opportunities into achievements. What is coming for the UAE is still greater and more impressive, God willing,” he added.
