Gold hits over three-month high

Gold prices hit their highest levels in more than three months on Monday.

Spot gold was up 0.5 per cent at $4,627.42 per ounce, as of 01:55 GMT, after hitting its highest level since 15th May earlier in the session.

US gold futures edged 0.1 per cent higher to $4,683.80.

Among other metals, spot silver fell 0.3 per cent to $68.76 per ounce. Platinum lost 0.5 per cent to $1,868.03 while palladium was down 0.3 per cent at $1,345.87.
