Air Arabia announced on Thursday the launch of its direct flights between Sharjah and Aleppo, starting from July 4, 2026, a move which strengthens its presence in Syria.
The new service will operate daily, providing travellers with greater flexibility in travel options and reinforcing Air Arabia’s commitment to offering comfortable and affordable air travel services across key markets.
With the launch of its flights to Aleppo, Air Arabia continues to enhance its operations in Syria, where it currently operates 21 weekly flights between Sharjah and Damascus, in addition to 3 weekly flights between Abu Dhabi and Damascus.
In this context, Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, said, “Syria is a key destination within our network, and we are pleased to enhance air travel by providing direct flights to Damascus and Aleppo from Sharjah. This expansion reflects our commitment to offering seamless and comfortable travel services to our customers, as well as supporting economic and tourism ties between the UAE and Syria.”
