Ajman Police launched a proactive initiative to issue certificates of damage and loss for vehicles affected by the accumulated rainwater in all over the emirate as part of its keenness to enhance the quality of life and make members of society happy, said Colonel Ghaith Khalifa Al Kaabi, Director of Comprehensive City Police Station.
The initiative aims to make things easier for customers and enable them to complete their procedures without hassle by issuing the necessary certificates for damaged vehicles or their lost number plates due to the weather conditions without the need to submit a prior request, he added.
Al Kaabi pointed out that the traffic and security patrol teams carried out a comprehensive field survey of all the areas of the emirate, especially large water accumulation zones, where damaged vehicles were identified, some of which suffered breakdowns or damage while others lost their number plates.
The service was made available through Ajman Police smart app, where more than 94 per cent of this service was completed through the app, in a clear embodiment of providing smart and fast services that met the aspirations of members of the society, he said.
Ajman Police proactively issued damage and loss certificates, which enabled vehicle owners to complete damage repair procedures at agencies or insurance companies easily and conveniently without needing to visit police stations, thus reducing the time required to complete the service and shortening its stages, he added.
Al Kaabi affirmed that Ajman Police would continue to develop their proactive services beyond customers’ expectations, especially during times of crisis and disaster.
