Nepal flood

Nepalese people should follow the instructions issued by Nepal’s National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority after the fresh flood warning and seek shelter in safe areas (“Nepal issues fresh flood warning as Bhotekoshi river’s water level rises,” Aug.30, Gulf Today website).

Nepal is dealing with an emergency situation in the country as devastating floods near the border with China have killed at least 903 people in Nepal, while the number of people missing in the country has soared to 4,247.

There’s no doubt that it’s a testing time for the government and people of Nepal as they cope with natural disasters. This time shall pass.

The world should play a vital role and help Nepalese brothers and sisters in their tough times.
