Pentagon files reveal UFO sightings over UAE

The United Arab Emirates has emerged as a focal point in newly released US military files documenting mysterious aerial sightings recorded over Gulf waters and desert regions in recent years.

Several recently released files from the US Defence Department have drawn renewed attention to unidentified aerial phenomena, including multiple sightings recorded over waters near the United Arab Emirates. At least three of the dozens of archived files relate to unusual aerial activity observed in the region, with one notable incident dated June 1, 2024. According to the records, the footage was captured by an infrared sensor aboard a US military aircraft flying across the Gulf of Oman.

The videos show small white objects moving in unusual patterns above the sea and desert landscapes surrounding the UAE. Some appeared to streak across the screen in less than a second, while others moved slowly and steadily before disappearing from view. In several clips, military tracking systems appeared to follow the mysterious objects as they travelled through the air.

The UAE-related footage has attracted significant online discussion due to the strategic importance of the region and the advanced surveillance systems involved in recording the sightings. While officials have not identified the objects or confirmed their origin, analysts have speculated that they could range from advanced drones and atmospheric anomalies to still-unexplained aerial activity. The files form part of a wider collection of military recordings documenting unusual sightings over Iraq, Syria and surrounding Gulf waters.
