This was my first Ramadan in the UAE and I enjoyed a lot. The atmosphere during the Holy Month of Ramadan was very different. I never had experienced such an amazing atmosphere in 40 years of my life. Mosques were flooded with worshippers all across the UAE. Even Ramadan tents were organised almost in every emirate where anyone could go and break the fast. Even I had the opportunity to break my fast in the tents a couple of times while returning from work and it was an incredible experience for me.
I shared the meal with people from different nationalities. We did not speak the same language but sat together and had iftar. It is an incredible feeling for me. I had never experienced such a thing anywhere else. Now the Holy Month of Ramadan is over and I am feeling nostalgic about it. Now I will have to wait for a year to get such a feeling.
