Drizzles fell on separate areas across the country including Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Umm Al Quwain. The rains are expected to continue from Thursday until Monday as a result of the country being affected by the extension of a surface low-pressure system and a surface high-pressure system from the west, accompanied by the extension of a high-pressure system in the upper atmosphere.

According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), the weather on Tuesday and Wednesday morning is expected to be clear to partly cloudy and dust-stirring at times with active to strong and dust-stirring northwesterly winds and a drop in temperature, while the sea will be rough to very rough.

The weather from Thursday to Monday morning will see clouds flowing from the west towards the country at intervals, accompanied by drizzles to moderate rain in separate areas across the country, it said. The rains would turn at times into heavy in some areas, especially the western and eastern ones, the NCM added, noting that it would keep the public informed of any updates.
