
The UAE State Security Department announced on Tuesday the enforcement of a prohibition on photographing, sharing, or disseminating information related to critical and sensitive security locations. Additionally, the use of modern technologies to promote unreliable or misleading content has been restricted.
In its statement shared on X, the department emphasized that this measure aims to address current developments and safeguard national security and stability by preventing the spread of false information or compromising sensitive sites.
The department also highlighted that compliance with these directives demonstrates a strong sense of national responsibility and awareness.
Earlier in the evening, Dubai authorities have confirmed that a fire resulting from a drone-related incident near the US Consulate has been successfully contained. Emergency teams responded immediately. No injuries have been reported.
Dubai Media Office said, “The fire near the US Consulate in Dubai has been fully extinguished, with no injuries reported. Dubai authorities reaffirm their commitment to ensuring everyone’s safety and security.”
