UAE air defenses intercept 12 ballistic, 2 cruise missile…

The UAE Ministry of Defense announced that on April 6, 2026, the UAE air defenses dealt with 12 ballistic missiles, 2 cruise missiles, and 19 drones launched from Iran.

Since the start of the blatant Iranian attacks, UAE air defenses have intercepted 519 ballistic missiles, 26 cruise missiles, and 2,210 drones.

These attacks have resulted in 4 injuries ranging from minor to severe, bringing the total number of injuries to 221, affecting multiple nationalities including Emirati, Egyptian, Sudanese, Ethiopian, Filipino, Pakistani, Iranian, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Azerbaijani, Yemeni, Ugandan, Eritrean, Lebanese, Afghan, Bahraini, Comorian, Turkish, Iraqi, Nepali, Nigerian, Omani, Jordanian, Palestinian, Ghanaian, Indonesian, Swedish, Tunisian, Moroccan, and Russian.

No new deaths were recorded in recent hours. Since the start of the Iranian attacks, the total number of martyrs is 2, plus a Moroccan civilian contracted with the Armed Forces. The total number of civilian fatalities is 10, including Pakistani, Nepali, Bangladeshi, Palestinian, Indian, and Egyptian nationals.

The Ministry of Defense confirms that it remains fully prepared and ready to respond to any threats, decisively countering all attempts to undermine the state’s security, protecting its sovereignty, stability, and national interests.
