His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has directed that recruitment processes be accelerated and that 603 Emirati graduates be employed in the Government of Sharjah during May and June.
He also approved the plan for Sharjah Programme for Training and Qualifying Job Seekers, which included training 600 Emiratis from May 1 to October 31.
Each trainee will receive a monthly reward of Dhs6,000, at a total cost of Dhs21.6 million.
Abdullah Ibrahim Al Zaabi, Head of Sharjah Department of Human Resources, told the Direct Line programme that as many as 397 Emiratis were employed in the Government of Sharjah between January 5 and March 31, 2026, adding that with the completion of the new recruitment processes, some of 1,000 Emiratis would be employed during the first half of this year.
