Sharjah issues guidelines for mosquito control during the rainy season

Sharjah Municipality has released safety guidelines aimed at tackling public health pests, particularly mosquitoes, during the rainy season.

The guidelines, shared on the municipality’s official social media channels, advise residents to routinely inspect their surroundings to remove standing water, regularly trim trees to minimize humidity, maintain drainage systems, and properly care for gardens and swimming pools.

Additionally, the municipality highlighted that it offers a complimentary pest control service for public health. Residents can access this service by visiting the municipality’s website or contacting the call center at 993.
