flydubai resumes operations gradually with low schedule of flights

flydubai has announced the gradual resumption of operations with a limited flight schedule starting Monday, following a temporary halt in certain flights.

The airline clarified that several scheduled flights were impacted by this suspension and is actively reaching out to affected passengers to notify them about cancellations or adjustments.

Travellers are urged to avoid heading to the airport unless they have received confirmation that their flight will proceed as planned, has been rebooked, or their check-in time has been updated.

The airline emphasised that ensuring the safety of its passengers and crew remains its highest priority. It stated that it is maintaining close collaboration with relevant authorities to facilitate a safe and organized return to normal operations.

In support of its customers, flydubai announced that passengers with bookings for travel between Feb.28 and March 31 could either re-book an alternative flight to the same destination within 30 days of their original travel date at no additional cost or cancel their booking to receive a full refund via their original payment method or a travel voucher, all without incurring any penalties.

Additionally, the airline encouraged passengers to regularly check the status of their flights and review operational updates before arriving at the airport.

It also advised them to keep their contact information updated through the “Manage Booking” tool to ensure they receive timely notifications about their flights.
