A drone incident in the vicinity of Dubai International Airport (DXB) affected one of the fuel tanks. Dubai Civil Defence teams are currently working to bring the fire under control. No injuries have been reported so far.
The Dubai Media Office said, “Authorities are currently responding to a fire resulting from a drone-related incident in the vicinity of Dubai International Airport. All necessary measures are being taken to ensure everyone’s safety.”
The Dubai Civil Defence teams confirmed that they have successfully contained the fire resulting from impact to one of the fuel tanks in the vicinity of Dubai International Airport.
No injuries have been reported.
The UAE Ministry of Defence affirmed that it remains fully prepared and ready to deal with any threats and will firmly confront any attempt to undermine the security of the state, ensuring the protection of its sovereignty, security and stability and safeguarding its interests and national capabilities.
