
The Dubai Police affirmed that the Smart Police Stations (SPS) provide services to customers 24 hours a day in the Emirate of Dubai, without human intervention, noting that they offer 33 centres across the Emirate, through which customers can obtain 32 services within the “Criminal Reports and Complaints Services” package, the “Traffic Services and Accidents” package, the “Certificates and Permits” package, and the “Community Participation and Support Services” package.
Dubai Police clarified that these centres provide their services to the public in all languages, and whether they are “SPS,” “Drive-Thru,” “Walk-In,” or “Suburban Police Points,” they offer services 24 hours a day.
They also explained that the Smart Police Stations provide the ability to register a criminal report without the need to meet employees, by direct communication via video call with investigation officers who speak several languages.
The officers discuss all details with the customers, then send them the statement report regarding the complaint for signature, in addition to providing inquiry services, the “Police Eye” service, and many community services.
Among the services provided by the Smart Police Stations are: opening a criminal complaint, reporting a bounced cheque, cybercrimes, criminal status certificate, loss certificate, to whom it may concern certificate, certificate of clearance from traffic violations, traffic status certificate, dead body entry permit, sailing permit, road closure permit, Dubai Police Museum visit permit, inquiring about and paying traffic fines, and reporting obstructing vehicles, in addition to providing diplomatic and other services.
