An Iranian drone struck a building in Dubai in the wee hours of Thursday, authorities said.
Dubai authorities are responding to a drone that fell on a building near Dubai Creek Harbour, a luxury waterfront development north of the country’s downtown.
The Dubai Media Office stated that authorities in Dubai responded to an incident involving a drone crashing into a building in the Dubai Creek Harbour area.
It added that the incident was fully contained, ensuring the safety of all residents, with no injuries reported.
Authorities are currently carrying out evacuation operations to ensure the safety of everyone in the building.
Civil Defence teams have brought a minor fire in the building under control. No injuries have been reported so far.
All residents moved to a safer location.
