A popular Scottish resident Dylan Ferguson has praised Dubai for valuing every resident.

Ferguson is residing in Dubai and works as a real estate agent return from a trip abroad.

Upon his return to the Dubai, Ferguson said he received handful of Dubai merchandise for being vocal in support of the emirate and the UAE.

Ferguson shared a video on Instagram and said, “I’ve just came back to my apartment and I’ve received a gift from the Government of Dubai.

“They’ve sent me this note along with all of this stuff here. It’s a bunch of Dubai merchandise, a hat, power bank, along with some Dubai chocolate, which I’ll tuck into later.

“But it’s this note that I want to read out to you. On behalf of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, we would like to share this token of our appreciation for your continued advocacy for our city.

“Over the past few days, we hope you’ve seen the way “Dubai prioritises the safety and well-being of its citizens, residents and visitors, and at the same time maintains world-class service standards. We look forward to continuing to work with you to tell the world real, powerful stories about Dubai and its people.

“I’m actually speechless. This is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen. To know that I’m actually appreciated by the government for showing my support online and showing the true story of “Dubai and its people here is, I can’t tell you that feeling.

“This is incredible. I mean, where else in the world would send you something like this for making little videos on Instagram and showing the truth, sharing the truth, you know? This is, wow. I don’t know what to say.

“I mean, people wonder why we love this place so much and wonder why the residents are massive natural advocates for this city, why we don’t shut up about this place. It’s because of little things like this.

“Like knowing there’s a government that appreciates you being here is amazing. And you get that feeling just living here. You feel like part of the family just when you live here. So yes, something I can’t quite explain and it’s hard to explain when you don’t live here.

“But you know what? We’re going to keep supporting. That’s why the support keeps coming. So Dubai, keep doing what you’re doing and never change.”
