The Directorate General of Traffic and Patrols urged motorists not to stop under bridges or inside tunnels during rainfall, stressing that these dangerous practices obstruct traffic flow, increase the likelihood of accidents and endanger the safety of road users, especially given reduced visibility and increased risk of skidding.

The directorate stressed the need for motorists to abide by traffic safety rules and to park in safe places, underscoring the importance of avoiding tailgating and distraction, reducing speeds and staying away from large puddles or low-lying areas that might experience sudden water flow.
