It is raining heavily in Sharjah for the last three days and more is expected on Friday, but the way Sharjah Municipality is working round the clock to keep the city clean and dry is great. The moment rain stops, I can see municipality workers and officials on the roads to monitor the situation and in only a few hours the whole roads were virtually dry. Even on Tuesday evening while I was returning from my work, I was amazed to see the work the municipality had done in only a few hours. Even Sharjah Police looked standing at almost every signal to help motorists. I feel Sharjah has a wonderful crisis management team, which is always ready to come into action, if and when required. I have no words to express my thanks to the Sharjah Government also for making our lives so smooth and hassle-free. Despite so much of rain, daily life is still going on smoothly for us. People are seen driving and walking all around Sharjah.
