The General Authority of Islamic Affairs called on worshippers to perform prayers in their homes for their safety. The Authority stated that it directed mosque imams to alert people via loudspeakers immediately after the Azan (call to prayer) with “Pray in your homes” in all areas affected by rains, and to combine the Dhuhr and Asr prayers, and the Maghrib and Isha prayers if performed in mosques, according to the assessment of weather conditions in each area.
The Authority also urged the public to adhere to the instructions issued by the competent authorities during these weather conditions, and to continue praying, thanking Allah Al Mighty for His blessings upon the country and its people, and to protect the UAE, its leadership, its people, and residents from the evil of enemies and the haters.
