The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) has explained that the ongoing weather conditions in the country, including sounds like thunder, are typical and to be expected during such weather patterns.
NCEMA assured the public that if any risks arise, alerts and guidelines will promptly be communicated through the National Early Warning System to ensure public safety. The authority also encouraged individuals to rely solely on official sources for information and avoid sharing unverified rumours.
