
The weather during the Eid Al Fitr period between Thursday and next Monday is expected to be moderately warm during the day and pleasant at night and in the early morning in general, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
It will, however, be partly cloudy to cloudy with more clouds appearing at times, interspersed with some cumulus clouds accompanied by rains of varying intensity on separate areas across the country, while the temperature is likely to drop, especially on Sunday and Monday.
Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly, turning to active and dust-stirring at times in open areas, causing the horizontal visibility to be lower, while the sea will have regular to moderate waves but may become rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
Maximum temperature expected during this period will be 24-30 degrees Celsius in coasts and islands, 27-34 degrees Celsius in inland areas and 17-24 degrees Celsius in mountainous areas.
Minimum temperature expected during this period will be 19-23 in coasts and islands, 14-20 degrees Celsius in inland areas and 11-16 degrees Celsius in mountainous areas.
