The Consulate General of India in Dubai has announced special relief measures for foreign nationals currently stuck in India due to ongoing conflicts in West Asia.
All visas and e-Visas nearing expiry will be extended for one month free of charge, and overstay penalties after 28 February 2026 will be waived.

Exit permits will also be provided gratis, and failure to apply for visa extensions or exit permits will not be treated as a violation of migration laws.
Additionally, foreign nationals diverted to India due to flight disruptions can obtain Temporary Landing Permits (TLPs) at no cost. The move aims to ease travel and legal concerns for affected travelers amid the regional crisis.
The consulate made sure that no foreign traveller stuck in India because of the West Asia conflict would face fines, legal trouble, or travel issues—they could stay, extend, or leave safely without stress.
