Egyptian Foreign Minister discusses regional developments with Pakistani, Bangladeshi counterparts

Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty discussed, in telephone calls he held on Sunday, with Pakistani counterpart Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Bangladeshi counterpart Khalilur Rahman, the recent regional and international developments.

Abdelatty and Pakistani Foreign Minister emphasized the importance of resuming the implementation of the memorandum of understanding signed in Islamabad between the United States and Iran. They also stressed the importance of reaching a comprehensive and sustainable agreement that promotes regional security and stability and prevents the region from widening the scope of the conflict.

Egypt’s Foreign Minister also discussed with his Bangladeshi counterpart ways to reduce the escalation and contain the repercussions of the crises and conflicts in the region, in order to contribute to restoring regional stability.
