Great debut

I have been a huge fan of Kareena Kapoor Khan for years. She is one of Bollywood’s most bankable and celebrated female stars. When it comes to versatility in acting, Kareena’s name is always among the first that comes to mind. Her remarkable filmography including “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham”, “Omkara,” “Jab We Met,” “Kurbaan,” “Bodyguard,” “Singham Returns,” “Bajrangi Bhaijaan,” and “Crew”speaks for itself.

She made her Bollywood debut in 2000, with “Refugee” and has never looked back. I still remember being in college when the film was released. My friends and I were instantly drawn to her acting and captivating screen presence. Although “Refugee” did not become a major box-office success, Kareena’s performance won the hearts of audiences and marked the arrival of a talented actor who would go on to enjoy an extraordinary career.

I feel Kareena is one of the few Bollywood actors who made a debut and then went on to deliver outstanding performance one after another. Throughout her career, she has consistently challenged herself by taking on a wide range of roles, never hesitating to experiment with different characters. Whether it’s a glamorous commercial entertainer or a performance-driven film, she has embraced every opportunity.
