The Ministry of Education (MoE) announced the schedule for the end-of-term exams for the third semester of the 2025-2026 academic year for Group A subjects in grades five through twelve in government schools and private schools that apply the MoE curriculum between June 24 and July 3, 2026.
The period from June 15 to 19, 2026 would be allocated for the submission of final assignments and projects for Group B subjects in grades 5 through 12, the MoE said. Additionally, the School Summative Assessment (SSA) would be implemented for grades 3 and 4 in all subjects, replacing the centralized end-of-term exams for the third semester of the 2025-2026 academic year for these two grades, it added.
The MoE explained that the tests would be conducted electronically for grades five through twelve for all tracks, in public and private schools, through real attendance at the school, while an electronic written test would be conducted for the English language subject for grade twelve.
Twelfth-grade students enrolled in private schools following the MoE’s curriculum would take all their exams in public government schools, under joint supervision and co-ordination with the MoE’s School Operations Sector, it said, stressing the need for all students to bring their own computers to school during the exam period.
