admin Esteemed educator Dr. Mahmoud Ahmed Al Qaisiya, father of Dr. Mohammed, Abdullah, and Abdul Aziz Mahmoud Ahmed Al Qaisiya, has passed away.
President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, offered his condolences to the family. The UAE President wrote on X: “I extend my sincere condolences to the family of Dr. Mahmoud Al Qaisiya, who played a key role as a pioneering teacher and educator during the early years of the UAE. Working alongside the late Sheikh Zayed, he was instrumental in advancing our nation’s education sector and leaves a prominent legacy. May he rest in peace.”

The funeral prayer for the deceased will be held at Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed I Mosque immediately following the Asr prayer on Tuesday, and his body will be laid to rest in Al Bateen Cemetery, Abu Dhabi.
Men’s condolences will be received at Rabdan Majlis from Tuesday until Thursday, between 8am and 1pm, and between 4pm and 9pm.
Women’s condolences will be received at the deceased’s home in Officers’ City, Rabdan, Villa No. 12.
