The news that was published in your esteemed newspaper, “IPL: complimentary ticket pressure forced the final shift,” is a real shocker.It is a shame that every state cricket association is getting free 15% capacity of their stadium as complimentary ticket, which deprives genuine cricket lovers of a chance for them to see the matches at the stadiums. Ironically, the Karnataka Cricket Association, which is headed by the deputy chief minister of the State, is demanding a minimum of five tickets for each of their MLAs & MPs to witness the matches, which is a real shame.Glad the BCCI has taken a wise decision to shift the playoff and finals to Ahmedabad from Bengaluru.Vinay Mahadevan,Al Nahda 1, Dubai
